New to the SENCO role

If you are new to the role of SENCO and would appreciate the opportunity to meet others in the same role and share your experiences or concerns, then this session is for you!

This session is an informal opportunity to share ideas, gain further knowledge and understanding about the day to day life as a SENCO and provide mutual support for colleagues.

What is included in the session?

As well as the above we will be looking at:

  • The roles of the SENCO, class teachers and TAs
  • Reviewing and updating inclusion policies and SEN information reports
  • How to make referrals to different agencies

The content of the afternoon can also be personalised to delegates' needs.  Please contact us in advance.

This programme will run on Thursday 26th September from 9.15am - 12noon.
