The Swaledale Alliance has grown to a partnership of 50+ primary schools across the northern part of North Yorkshire.

The Alliance offers a comprehensive programme of CPD and Networks open to both members and non-partner schools.

Our Core Offer includes subject development groups and a full range of career development CPD from Teaching Assistant, Initial Teacher Training through to Consultant Headship.

The aims of the Alliance partnership of schools:
To have a shared aim to raise standards in achievement and attainment for all pupils
To facilitate equality of opportunity for all pupils accessing a broad and balanced curriculum through events in schools, the locality and community
To provide extended learning opportunities for pupils in the cluster through extended schools and gifted and talented provision
To have a moral purpose of support for colleagues and a commitment to ensuring that Headteacher well-being is an ongoing priority
To contribute to the annual Development Plan for the Alliance, ensuring this is strategic and focused on teaching and learning, pupil achievement and widening curriculum opportunities
To commit to working collaboratively with Alliance colleagues accepting the expectation that this is reciprocal
To share ideas and good practice and explore procurement opportunities to achieve best value across the Alliance and in individual schools
To respect confidentiality at all times
