Primary Computing Development Group
Ideas, support, sharing and networking for Computing subject leaders
What is it?
This is an opportunity to create a network with colleagues to enhance mutual understanding and develop a community of good practice and support subject leaders as we launch into the brave new world of the Computing curriculum. The sessions are open to non Alliance schools at a cost of £60 per delegate.
There is a Facebook group. It's at:
All Alliance schools are welcome to join.
Who are the Development Group Facilitators?
Applegarth Primary School Class Teacher and Computing Leader
Tony has 10 years teaching experience, working in both Lancashire and North Yorkshire. He is currently teaching a Reception/Year 1 class although he has spent the majority of his career working in upper KS2. Tony moved to Applegarth Primary School in September 2013 and made an immediate impact in moving the school forward in the way its teachers use technology to support learning in the classroom. He uses digital leader workshops to trial new technologies and is keen to support others with delivering the new Computing curriculum.
